Downtown art heritage is my favourite cafe in the heart of Georgetown. It’s the best spot to stop for a revitalising drink and a fulfilling cake! When I was here for the first time hunting for graffiti artworks in Penang, I came across to this artistic cafe and instantly fell in love.
Drinks
An ice cold coffee or orange juice definitely does the job of icing me down on a hot day.
Cempedak Cake
On my first bite on this cempedak cake I was grinning cheek to cheek. The amount of cempedak used is in proportion to the cake. The scoop of vanilla ice cream not only cools me down in the blazing heat, it balances the sweet aroma of cempedak.
If you are wondering what cempedak is, it has a strong flavour similar to durian but isn’t as pungent as the latter.
